How to apply

MigrationBeamtime at Diamond is free at the point of access for non-proprietary research. Proposals are submitted through the User Administration System (UAS) and reviewed by peer review panels twice a year.

1. Check the beamline pages to choose the right instrument and technique.
2. Contact the beamline team to discuss feasibility.
3. Submit your proposal in progress…UAS before the call deadline.
4. Panels review proposals; results are emailed to the principal investigator.

Rapid access and industry

Rapid Access routes exist for urgent, high-impact work. Proprietary (paid) access for industry is arranged through the Industry Liaison team.
